----------- MORE PICS!! A car so cool it has its own website: mach 1 forsale. com ------
This Mach 1 is gorgeous. and driving it just makes you feel ALIVE. I t's a combination of the little things - the throaty exhaust burbles. the momentum throwing you around. that excitement when you nail a downshift perfectly.
After every drive. I pop out of the car with a grin and a lightness in my whole body.
This car was a super fun father-daughter project which began in 2003. It started with discovering the Mach 1 tucked away in a barn in Beaver. Oklahoma. After trailering home our treasure. we restored it over the next couple years. with the help of Brian Pielemeier of Brian's Custom Paint and Body of Hot Springs. Arkansas. The engine was carefully rebuilt and paired with a new 4 barrel Holley carburetor and Hurst shifter. Moving through those gears gives a rush that can't be beat! The medium blue paint was exceptional at the time of completion. and because this car has been in the (climate/humidity controlled) garage for most of its restored life. it remains striking. Wherever it goes. it demands attention.
In addition to the joys of just driving the Mach 1 locally. it's been fun to enter the car into car shows and show it off among its peers at the annual Mid-America Ford and Shelby meets in Tulsa. OK. This car definitely embodies the sexy. aggressive style of the 1970 Mach 1 Mustang.
This car was my baby - until I actually had a baby - and now need to find it a new home. You'll see that I do not have a 'seller' history on e Bay - this is my first time to buy or sell on this site. Please don't let that scare you away - I'm an honest gal who hopes to find the best home for my "Old Blue. " Please call or email with any questions you have for me - I'm happy to share my experience of the car with serious. interested buyers.
Also. we're willing to help load the car - located in Hot Springs. AR - but please arrange for your own transport. Deposit due within 24 hours of sale close complete payment must be made within 7 days by either bank transfer. wire transfer. cashier's check.
