Selling a few of my vehicles that I don't use as much as they deserve. Here is my 1969 beetle. I tool it as a px last year. It was described as being fully restored and it has been to some degree. It has a ported and polished 1641 cc engine and rebuilt 4 speed box. New wings/arches fitted all round, very good and clean wheels etc. There's no signs of rot thankfully either. Other than some surface rust on the inner floor (though it's very very solid). The interior is clean with no tears, the dash is immaculate black. It starts first time every time and is actually very fast. Perhaps too fast for what it is with its hard suspension. Though its seriously fun to drive and it gets looks absolutely everywhere it goes. It was painted last year, though it appears to have been painted over soft primer and that has reacted/shrunk in a couple of places. We have a paint shop next door who has gone over it eith a magnet and it is solit metal, not filler like I thought it may be. There is 1 repair on the off side quarter where the new metal was welded on that has a crack. But the car is still very very clean and looks amazing in its very shiny black. The split screen was fitted when I got it and it looks outstanding, though I don't know the history behind it. I have a folder of receipts, some parts and paperwork also. But all in all, you could buy this, drive it to London and use it daily the way it is if that's what you wanted. Its mot and tax exempt and £80 per year fully comp for insurance. I'm looking to buy something unusual after selling some of my toys. I.e. overland camper, expedition vehicle, off roader, bike, can am maverick or quad, boat, plane, helicopter, Aston martin, audi r 8, race car, rally car, classic car, rv, race camper/wagon, hot rod etc etc within e Bay rules. Please no bidders with little or bad feedback without contacting me first. I now need a deposit within 24 h of the auction ending unless agreed before hand. If you need the car delivered. This can be done by a local recovery company at £1.25 per mile. They are fully insured also. But payment will need to be made before hand I'm afraid. I recommend anyone interested to come and view, test drive, bring a magnet etc etc. There's nothing to hide and I'm sure you won't want to leave without it after seeing it. Good luck
