MGC GT 3.0 Litre AutomaticA truly lovely example, structurally sound and mechanically very good too with lots of money spent in the last year or so which includes a remanufactured brake master cylinder, Kenlowe Fan, Electronic Ignition, recommissioning service and carburettors balanced.The car has a webasto full length sunroof which was fitted in the mid 1980s and also a set of four chrome wires and spinners but EXCLUDING splined hubs these items will be included only at the asking price.Original15" steering wheel, Heritage Certificate and Data Sheet with the history.The previous custodian owned the car from the late 1980s until I purchased the car in February of last year, the service history is very good and amongst other documents contains MOT certificates going back to 1980.There is enough paperwork in the history file that I believe would suggest the mileage could be correct. In the last owners care the sills and bodywork were all replaced and also the engine and gearbox rebuilt neither of which have covered more than 5000 miles I was told.In my personal view I think it would benefit greatly from some paintwork not because of rust BUT because the paint job carried out was not that good in my opinion, also the seat bases need reupholstering in leather as the previous owner had them done in pvc !
