Hi and welcome to my listing for my 1982 BMW E 28 525 i. I have owned this car since 2011 and its fair to say I am very attached to it. I originally saved it from a deceased gentleman's estate where it had sat in his garage for around 20 years hence the low mileage and no rust. My passion is this generation of BMW's and am lucky enough to own several. This is a very good example as I hope you can see from the photos. No, it will not win you the Concours d'Elegance but it will certainly get you some thumbs up and admiring glances from passers by.

As stated the bodywork is rust free. Mechanically it is also very good with one of the quietest M 30's I have ever heard, no ticking from the lifters on this one. I have always serviced it every year even if it had only covered a couple of hundred miles. I have also replaced a never ending list of bits as expected with a classic car which I will be happy to go through with a potential buyer. Just last year it had a full front suspension arm refresh and wheel alignment. I have just put a years MOT on it with no advisories as expected.

I have added my own touches to it during my ownership with genuine BBS style 5 wheels, lowering springs, arch spats, stainless steel exhaust and a genuine Alpina front splitter. It will be sold as it looks in the photos. The interior remains standard and in very good order.

I am not desperate to sell it, although I have another E 28 I know if I sell this one I am not going to be able to replace it. With that in mind please appreciate I will not be giving it away. The only reason it is for sale is I am trying to reduce my collection so I can focus my time and attention on just a few.
