I have for sale my W 113 230 SL Mercedes Pagoda RHD Manual Transmission.Ive owned the car for around five years and I have undertaken extensive work including the following items :- Rebuilt Propshaft and all Joints- Rebuilt Rear Suspension- Rebuilt Rear Axle- All brake system rebuilt including rebuilt original servo- Rechromed ( about 90% of all chromework done )- Rebuilt Injection Pump ( best thing I ever had done....made a huge difference to the car )- Stainless Exhaust System There are so many other parts of the car that have been extensively rebuilt but you really need to see the car up close to really appreciate just how nice it is.Ive spared no money on maintaining the car and my obsessive nature for perfection has ensured that everything that has been done has been done properly. The car has been well travelled and just two years ago I took the Mrs for a tour around Europe spinning around France, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and back up to the UK. The car did not miss a beat although it did develop an oil leak in the rear axle flexi joint after arriving back at home and so that's when I took the whole rear axle out and did a total restoration including shot blasting all metalwork, powder coating, professional rebuild of the bearings and gears, brakes and everything else related. Ive got classic car ramps in my garage at home so you can give the car a proper inspection standing up !!My time is jammed packed busy all the time and I really dont have the inclination to do any more with the car, hence the sale.My wife is not impressed that im putting the car up for sale because she loves sitting pretty in the passenger seat cruising around but she's not the one that maintains it !!!Ive got files of bills and photos and all that kind of thing.
