Mercedes 350 SL 1976 V 8 automatic. In super condition inside, outside and mechanically. Drives very well, and both tax and MOT exempt. After 4 years of advisory free MOTs between 2014 and 2017, this car was the subject of a full restoration in 2019 at a cost of £22,500, including full engine rebuild, full body restoration including removal of any rust and new metal welded in where necessary, and full repaint in its original colour. The brakes and suspension were all overhauled, and wheels refurbished and powder coated. The interior has been fully replaced with new period leather and cloth trim, and a new soft top hood fitted. Having covered less than 1000 miles since the car presents very nicely indeed.Unfortunately no service history prior to restoration is available, but the car has had just 6 owners in 45 years, and MOT history shows it has remained in regular use since 2005 but only covering 14 k miles in that period. Current recorded mileage is just 25 k miles, which can't be substantiated.
