This is a barn find restoration project , which is now running and driving, after 10 years off the road.It starts on the button, runs on all cylinders ,changes gear , has working power steering , and stops in a straight line when you press the brake pedal.However it needs a complete restoration The bodywork is rough, it needs repairs to the bottom six inches of 3 doors , repair to the bottom of the front wings and sidelamp housings , base of the bootlid , and the areas around all jacking points. The sills appear to have been previously replaced and are solid. The underside is better than many restored examples of this model. The paint is completely shot and will need stripping to bare metal.The interior is original cream leather, and will need full restoration , but it is complete and usable , the driver seat looks like it has been attacked by a caged animal.The mechanical condition seems to be better than the cosmetics , and we have driven the car 5 miles today, but there is no history whatsoever, and the car is sold strictly as seen with no warranty implied and no returns, so you are advised to inspect before purchase.We have the V 5 c and a Jaguar Daimler Heritage certificate confirming matching numbers. The mileage shown is 77000, but do not

know whether that is correct.The only items that we are aware that are missing are front windscreen chrome finishers , toolbox and jack , and rear wheel spat covers , but we can supply these parts at additional cost.A similar model in the same colour was sold last week for over £30000, so there is plenty of scope here for an experienced restorer.The price is fixed, and viewing is strictly by appointment with Rugby Classic Motor Garage on 01788 571896.
