here for sale is a super cool looking 67 beetle that i just took in a deal i done so selling straight on to recover the money it owes me..anyway,its a one year only model as you most likely know,very solid beetle that has very good floors and heater channels,door posts etc,looks like no welding at all required,doors also open and close nicely,no dropping.this car has had a small fortune spent on it not long ago,i bet the invoices add up to the same value as the car..engine is a 1641cc with1600 twin port heads fitted with roller bearing cams and alloy rocker covers,it did have big twin carbs on it,you can see the cut outs on the inner rear arch that housed the carbs but the owner removed and kept them and fitted a new single carb,engine sounds good..its got a new full stainless exhaust fitted,empi quick shift gear stick,rev counter and gear change indicator,new looking flexi brake pipes and rigid pipes,hoses and starter look fairly new as do track rod etc,rear wheels are vw smoothies that have been banded and front are standard,all newly coated with new moon hubcaps.its had rear side safari pop out window conversion and expensive leather porsche front seats grafted to the original vw runners,rear boot lid has got custom stand offs at the moment but i have ordered some standard ones, to be fitted when they arrive..roof rack. 2.5 inch drop spindles on front and rear lowered..in all this is a good solid straight car but the body is a bit on the ratty(patina) side,few scabs and crazing paint,bonnet is faded and has peeling paint but i just left it as it is rather than try and tart it up,i think it looks better as is..please come and check it out for yourself and be sure you are nothing but happy with what you are buying from me..update..iv just ordered a vintage style alloy sun visor and im lowering it further. Pics updated soon..am getting tempted to end listing and keep it :#)
