his car is a 1974 Rover P6 3500 V8 in Almond with tan box-pleat leather interior and power steering. The upper body is in virtually unblemished condition with a superb paint finish and the base unit/ underside is also in very good order. In 1995 it was treated to a body restoration and mechanical overhaul at a cost then of £6000 and there are also substantial bills for further expenditure in recent years.On the road this Rover drives superbly – as well as any of the dozen or so we have owned in recent years - and the V8 runs very sweetly. The automatic gearbox hs been professionally overhauled at a cost of (£1500) new inhibitor switch, new alternator, oil and filter and various other minor replacement parts. The car is also fitted with a full stainless-steel exhaust system and electronic ignition. The interior trim is in good condition. Extensive history file. Buyer to collect. Cash on collection.
