For sale is my wife's 1964 Morris Traveller. It is a very reliable and useable classic car which my wife uses several times a week to nip into town. The car always starts first time and we have had no problems with it. The car has a brand new MOT as of 12th Nov 2013 and 12 months road tax (this is free as the car is tax exempt due to its age. ) As the car is a classic. insurance is very cheap too - We paid around £75 fully comp. As I am a car dealer. I can sell the car with a 3. 6 or 15 month warranty at trade cost for the new owner's peace of mind.

Our Traveller was restored by a local professional mechanic in 2011 - the car was for his wife. I have photos of his restoration which included: replacement of several wood frame pieces. varnishing of frame inside and out. new metal wings. new sills. new carpets. new rear headlining. The body was waxoyled underneath and the bodywork was resprayed in 2-pack paint. The car was serviced with new filters etc. I have lots of receipts for parts purchased for the restoration.

We bought the car a year ago and since then. I have had the original wheels shot blasted and powder coated in Old English White. and put in new points. I have added several new pieces of chrome work including bonnet badge. bonnet handle. new hub caps. I have changed the engine oil today.

My wife has only done about 2. 00 miles in the year we have had the car. We are selling as she fell in love with a Nissan Figaro which I have now bought for her.

The mileage shown on the clocks is just under 29. 00 miles. The earliest MOT history shows the car only had 21. 39 miles at its MOT in 2005.

The car is in fair condition for its 50 years of age. The paint job was done by a mechanic. not a paint shop. so it isn't perfect but would probably flat off and polish up well. It is sound underneath. which was the main reason we bought the car in the first place. Also. the car is very original and everything works and is complete with tool kit. spare wheel. parcel shelf. spare key. V5 in my wife's name. MOT certificate. There is a radio and cassette player with the car but no speakers. There is a box of spares with the car including two headlights. badges. bumper over riders (removed due to addition of spotlights). and a tin of spare 2K paint.
