I have owned this extremely special first series Giulia Super bollino d'oro for the past five years. I have had it painstakingly restored to the highest possible standard and I would go as far to describe it as concorse. In order of Giulia Super importance this is the next one down to a TI Super and we all know how much they cost. The bollino d'oro is so called because of the gold circular Alfa Romeo badge on the rear pillar. This was the first Giulia saloon to have twin 40 carburettors. There are bills and receipts for the restoration of this car which total almost £30. 00. which is what a decent properly done restoration should cost. My car was also featured in the June 2013 edition of Auto Italia magazine where it was paid a very high compliment from a marque specialist that was present on the day. My car is ultra reliable having driven it from London to Modena then to Monza. driven all day around Monza. the next day driven all day around Balocco proving ground to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Giulia then driven back to London without once missing a beat. It is a matching chassis number and engine car and retains the original Dunlop brakes which were also fully restored. The underside of this car is as shiny as the top.

 

When you look at the prices of inferior cars available on the market at the moment this has to be a bargain. Also bear in mind what it cost me to restore this car.
