1983 Golf GTI Mk 1 Lhasa Green.125 k HPI Clear with report and original 'birth certificate' from VW.No previous accident damage. Unfinished restoration project with lots of potential! The shell really is an excellent example. Much work already carried out, including new-old-stock Genuine VW front panel, wings and tailgate. All very difficult to obtain. Floor strengthening bars Spare wheel well

have been professionally replaced, the latter with the correct mounting flange to the rear panel. Works to the shell totalling in excess of £4000, with receipts. There are no DIY repairs. It is completely rot free underneath. Cradle mounts / jacking points / inner outer sills. Sunroof is good. Original doors / sunroof and bonnet panels are all rust free. To complete, the shell requires: inner and outer wheel arch lip to the N/S, small repair to the bottom of the O/S arch (panels provided) and two tiny tiny holes repaired, before obviously full prep and paint. For me personally this represents a good opportunity as all of the repairs can be seen. Nothing is hidden, all of the Lhasa Green is the cars original paint. - Engine known to be a good runner.- Correct MFA gearbox.- Running gear will all need fully stripping and powder coating etc.- Green tinted glass (tailgate glass included but windscreen is missing).- Most other parts, as can be seen in the images. Carpets / door panels / wiring harness / ancillaries / etc etc. I appreciate you could get a rough-runner for not a great deal more, but in reality these cars generally all need more bodywork carried out behind the surface and usually at great expense. In my opinion this package offers a strong base for a full standard spec resto, or the opportunity to add your own style. With restored cars conservatively around £15 k, I feel there is value in this car. The usual problem of too many projects + too little time prevails. Viewing welcome. 07803 006544
