Hi Thanks for looking at my Trans Am. rare 4.9 L, means still looks, sounds & performs but at around 25 mpg. I've had both this & a couple of 6.6 L. 6.6 L does better wheel spins, that's it really!Back in USA 1979, there was a problem with Fuel supply…. The government asked all car manufacturers including Pontiac to come up with a solution to increase economy & reduce emissions… behold the 4.9 L this model was only manufactured for 12 months, during which, only so many Trans Am (all extras-Top specification ) were made. Only so many with T Top roof, & I believe, of them, only 1000 made in silver…. 40 years on…. Not many left! Not many rust free examples, coming from a dry state… probably the only 1 of this spec in the UK. So! Why am I selling?? Reducing collection. Always garaged, roof never leaks. I'm happy to put a full year's MOT on. Currently got one with no advisories. Albeit these are now Tax & MOT exempt. Well worth a look. Please ring me. 07841 450454
