Morris Minor ex police Panda car

this was one of two hundred and fifty cars issued to Scotland Yard as patrol cars ,(original zip in head cloth for roof sign wiring / removal still there also comes with the police radio and manual would take very little to make her a panda car again for shows or movie extras parts ) have owned this minor for 15 years , I have worked at classic vehicles for many years and enjoy it .I bought recommissioned Mot,d used as a sunny day out car for a while then dry stored in the garage, for some years , during the last year and a half I have again lightly restored her spending hundreds of enjoyable hours and over £1,000 on parts alone (invoices to show) mostly on a near complete braking system including nickel pipes ,flexible hoses , master cylinder ,wheel cylinders ,shoes , hubs ,alternator conversion , steering parts ,suspension, fuel sender , 10 litres of waxoyl injected Into panels ,chassis underneath again , ( saves the body work ) .Chrome work pretty good rear indicators have some pitting ,I have driven just over 600 miles over the last few months and have really enjoyed every minute , this car could be used on a daily basis , I drove one for 5 years all seasons a great fun car 45 mpg . In my humble opinion the doors and panels all line up well on this car which is important , and one of the factors taken into account when this car was valued by the historic car valuer for agreed payout of £10,000 if a claim is made , or you want to bring a car up to a show winner with out much work . There are many old mot certificates to verify mileage for the last number of years currently just under 17,000 miles on the clock probably second time around ,reconditioned engine with unleaded head ,gearbox etc by Morris minor restoration companies all done less than two thousand miles ago .many original good used spares with car. Even has a starting handle that works , I have a box of new and used spares ie filters , spin on filter conversion kit ,new rubber grommets for bulk head finishing, ,electrical parts and so on , so any spares ,manuals I have I will pass on to the new owner and will go with the car .NB please view in person before you make an offer so you are happy with what you are buying .
