This 1967 MGB Roadster is a matching numbers car. Engine number, transmission number, and body numbers all match the certified copy ofthe factory build record. (see pics)
This year MG has the 5 main bearing engine with the highercompression and has the overdrive gearbox.
I purchased this car from someone who lost interested inmaking the car presentable again. He purchased the follow for this car thengave up. There is the list below of what was purchased.
New complete paint job, very presentable but not show quality.
New chrome side trim including headlight buckets and trim andtail light chrome with new lens.
Let's not forget new blinker assemblies as well.
New exhaust system
New complete interior- carpet, door panels, back panels, seats re-upholstered, new trunk carpet with tools pouch,
New dash pad and all new chrome bezels on all the gauges.
New wiper and fan switches.
Car had a radio, now it has as radio delete plate.
New ignition switch
Lets add new wipers and arms.
A new top with new bows
A new half tonneau cover.
As for the engine, new Pertronix and flame thrower coil, newcap and rotor, new wires and NGK plugs.
I purchased the car NOT Running.
The fuel tank was clogged with gunk and the fuel pump wasjunk.
Cleaned tank, new correct fuel pump and sent the carbs outto Apple Hydraulics for a complete rebuild.
The runs and drives great. Everything works as it should. Wipers, gas gauge, heater and fan, Good oil pressure. Good brakes and No leaks underneath.
