Here is a very good running and driving 1969 GMC 1500 Custom LWB truck. We bought it in North Georgia and drove it back about 75 miles in 95 degree Georgia heat with no issues. It did not run hot. This truck is all original. It has the original 307 engine connected to a Turbo 350 transmission. It runs, drives and shifts out great. I would drive it anywhere. It has never been painted so no it is not a beauty queen for sure as it sits. The truck is factory Maroon with White top. The bumpers are original but still look pretty good. The only metal not original on body is the drivers side cab corner was replaced. Very solid. The bed is in great shape with no rust. The seat is in good condition. It has a rubber mat in floor. Door panels need replacing as does dash pad. The speedometer works as does the aftermarket temp gauge. The gas hand does not work. The gas tank is still behind the seat. This truck would be an ideal candidate for someone to cut it down into a short bed as you have a good body and drive train to work with. Alot of people do this and a short bed 1969 model truck bring very good money. It has new tires on it with Rally wheels but I have the original wheels as well if you prefer. The tires on the original wheels are not that good. All the exterior lights work like they should. This is a truck that you could drive like it is or restore to your liking.
