For sale is my 1989 BMW 325i finished in Alpine White II over Anthracite cloth sport seats. The car has covered 173,691 miles.

The car has the desirable combination of both a manual gearbox and a factory fitted 3.73 ratio LSD differential.

VIN: WBAAD12080AF55168

The body is in overall good condition, the paintwork is good condition for its age and the panels present only one or two dings or dents. The shut lines are consistent with all doors, boot and bonnet functioning perfectly. The electric sunroof operates as intended. The BBS alloys are in good condition with centre caps present. The Falken tyres have plenty of tread having had less than 2000 miles worth of use.

Mechanically the car is sound. The engine starts on the button, idles smoothly and warms well. The gearbox is smooth however the linkage would benefit from fresh bushing's. The Oil and filter were changed immediately after my purchase along with the spark plugs. The throttle body had a new gasket installed in the summer of 2019 and the idle control valve was thoroughly cleaned and hose clamps replaced. The LSD is fully functional.  The car has not been on the road for 18 months so I imagine it would benefit from a good run.

Unsurprisingly for a BMW from this era, there are some areas of slight rust that need attending to. The rear arches have succumbed to rust around the lips, as has the panel between the brake lights in three spots. The sunroof panel in a few localised areas and so has the roof around the sunroof in some small, localised patches. The scuttle directly below the near side A pillar has a single patch of bubbling. The boot floor has some small rust spots. The front arches appear solid, as do the sills.

The car has the folder with appropriate booklets from factory along with a large folder of various documents and invoices that have accumulated throughout the decades.

The car has been off the road for 18 months and will need some work to get it fully road worthy. It is neither Taxed or MOT'd therefore transportation will be required.
