1974 Volvo 145DL Auto Estate for sale

Classic 1974 Volvo 145DL Estate, 1986cc, Automatic, Tax and Mot exempt, showing approx 149k on the clock (not warranted), running driving project, turn key driver, an Increasingly rare sight, and havn't seen a 74 spec car in a while, bigger bumpers, no front quarterlights etc,  starts on the button, engine sounds good, autobox changes smoothly,  as apparently has been used regularly recently, took it for a 45 min test, and it ran fine, held good temp, brakes,steers and doesn't handle to bad all things considered, 3 speed auto quite at home bumbling around at anything up to 60mph, but gets a bit busy beyond, very happy round the country and A roads where I live, or round town, but I would suggest not a motorway cruiser!, bodywork is scruffy, but looks original paint, has had Incompleted repairs/touch ups round both rear arches,  bottoms of doors have rust bubbles, on a quick look underneath (not detailed Inspection), generally not bad for a nearly 47 year old car, but will definately need some ongoing repairs, Interior is tired, front seats have covers, as numerous splits, rear seats fine, no rear load space carpet, has the extra flip up rear facing seats in rear to give 7 seats, nearside front window wedged up, some might call whole thing nicely aged/patina look!,  good tyres all round, Including spare, fairly recent looking full Longlife exhaust system from manifold back, nice number plate, worth something, and If new owner is a Simon, added bonus. In summary It is what it is, a slightly down at heel, but driveable example for bringing back to its former glory, or just keep on road as classic load lugger. only 70's Volvo estate currently listed on Ebay!
