1969 VW Beetle 1500 deluxe, mechanically sound and rust free, 12 months MOT (even though its exempt), please see mot history on government website. New floors and heater channels 10 years ago (7000 miles) and still look like new. Front lowered on lime bug cast drop spindles with smart car front tyres, Front disk brakes and ball joint beam, clear front indicators and pre '66 rear lights and number plate light (all original parts will come with car). The interior is very good and period correct, unfortunately the the dash has been previously cut to fit a modern stereo so i put a period stereo in its place but it isn't wired up. The headlining was removed to carry out the roof repairs/respray and i have not replaced this, the door cards are brand new and the floor and doors have been sound proofed. It has had the engine removed for a replacement clutch and at the same time refreshed including cylinder heads striped, cleaned and valves lapped, cylinder barrels honed, new piston rings fitted and confirmed engine size to be a 1600 cc single port, Hurst quick shifter also fitted, keeps up with modern traffic very well and a real head turner. The roof suffered from rust in the 'C' pillars which is very common on these cars due to the foam fitted at factory 50 years ago, so a second hand roof was sourced and its gone through a compleate transplant including respraying the roof, bonnet and decklid (it would've had a full respray but my budget couldnt stretch that far unfortunately). more photos avaliable on request and any questions answered. deposit required before any arrangements made for collection, call Chris 8
