The Good News

- In general as far as I can see the car is complete (apart from a jack or wheel brace - that I took for my 1.6 Murena)

- All the glass and panels are intact

- The interior is in reasonable nick - seats are good, head lining is good (drivers door cloth covering is loose)

- The underside in reasonable order given it is 40 years old (Galvenised chassis)

- I have the V5 new keepers supplement

- Stainless Steel Exhaust looks to be in reasonable condition

The Bad News

- The trailing arms are shot -(a matra weakness) but new replacements are available

- The seal round the boot has been leaking and a bit mouldy inside

- The water pipes need replacing (new stainless steel ones available)

- No keys (but both doors open and the tailgate open)

- The car has sat outside for 5+ years

- The engine has been dismanted and has been removed from the car  (the aim of the buyer was to put the engine in the 1.6 Murena I own -  but the chassis would need to be adapted and this plan was abandoned!

The wheels have been freed off within last six months so should (hopefully) go on trailer without much problem
