1954 Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn finished in factory Black with Tan hide interior. Supplied on the 15th November 1954 by Rolls-Royce agent, Clarkes Of Pirbright, Surrey to its first owner, Mr J M Finn a rewound London stockbroker, Mr Finn kept the car until 1957 when it was sold to Mr Harry Willshaw of Dunlop Rubber Co. The car remained registered to Dunlop at Fort Dunlop until 1970 when it was acquired by Mr Godfrey Esq, the car then passed to Mr Godfery's son who has owned it ever since, with great regret Mr Godfrey Jr. has decided to part with his family's motor car and we are proud to be offering it on the market for the first time in over 51 years. Being a late example of the 760 Silver Dawns built by Rolls-Royce, this Silver Dawn has the far superior big bore 4.5 litre high compression engine with Zenith carburettor and twin exhaust, these later modifications, coupled with the smooth automatic gearbox made the Silver Dawn a fantastic long distance tourer. Late cars also benefited from some cosmetic changes including a larger boot and Bentley R-Type style dashboard fascia. Presented in truly outstanding condition throughout, complete with all small and large tools, perfect woodwork and stunning bodywork. Showing just 96,000 which having inspected the vehicle, we believe to be correct. A rare opportunity to acquire a very rare, late model Silver Dawn which has totally original body work which has never been welded or repaired as is so often the case with these cars.
