An exceptionally nice example of a "Flat Rad" Morgan Plus 4 open 2 seater.
Originally shipped to Sweden in 1953, it was first registered there in January 1954, and subsequently repatriated in 2013.
This car has been subject to extensive restoration work and is very sound throughout. Good chassis, solid ash frame, excellent bodywork, tyres, engine, gearbox, axle, brakes etc.
Finished in Brunswick green with contrasting light tan upholstery.
Recent improvements include new front bulkhead and toolbox, complete wiring loom, Rutherford Engineering front suspension upgrade with adjustable shock absorbers, electric heater, inertia reel seat belts, stainless steel luggage rack. The car also benefits from a stainless steel exhaust, woodrim steering wheel, side screens, hood, half tonneau cover and storm cover.
The Standard Vanguard 2088 cc engine feels very strong, maintains good oil pressure and pulls strongly through the 4 speed Moss gearbox, which is positive and light to use.
A very useable classic Morgan and being an Historic Vehicle requires no MOT and enjoys free road tax.
Clearly the recorded mileage stated cannot be relied upon to be correct.
