1956 Original split window H van. very original condition. overhauled in 2004 first registered in uk in 2008.
Petrol engine. very sound structurally. Good tyres all round. New passenger seat and repaired drivers seat.
MOT and Tax exempt
Great fun to drive but noisy as I'm sure you know. Starts well and drives well.
We have added electronic ignition and converted starter pull to button start when it snapped.
Painted in cactus vert brush painted no flattened. look good.
Interior is very original. We added a mini bus seat with seat belts but this can easily be removed if required. Inside cab is original silver grey paint tatty but lovely. back is painted white gloss. Could do with a bit of tidying.
We have used this van regularity for farmers markets. camping trips. general hauling stuff around. Time however restricts me to enjoying it enough so have decided to sell. These vans are going up in value all the time and I'm not in a rush to sell want to find it a good home.
Perfect to convert to catering van or camper. We camp in it by adding boards in b Ack and putting a double mattress on them works a treat. "Wilkinsons" are the people to talk to about catering conversion if you are interested they do lots and very good job I understand.
