1972 MGB Roadster in Midnight Blue for sale
Current customer rating: (77 votes ) based onCar runs and drives with the engine benefiting from a 45 Weber DCOE (recently refurbished) conversion, electronic ignition and a better 3 branch exhaust system. Improving all the right “suck, bang, blow” ingredients for a sweet running engine. In addition it now boasts the Revotec cooling fan kit.
Other improvements are to both the front and rear suspension, having been upgraded with telescopic dampers and rebuilt with poly bushes.
With working overdrive the gearbox has also recently had a new clutch.
The soft top is brand new having only just been fitted. With seats, carpets and door trims in blue to match the colour of the car.
It is also fitted with a brand new 12 volt battery and new windscreen (often noted as the worst job on an MGB)
It is not a show winner but a very useable classic. This is a car you can buy and drive home.
The V5c shows the car registered as an Historic vehicle, tax and MoT exempt.
I am selling the roadster as I had originally bought it to convert to a V8 but having seen how good the shell was I decided to leave it as a standard car. But I now want to go down the V8 route and this car is too nice for that.
The last few pictures show the car being put together and the rust free status of the body underneath.
Now the usual stuff:
