Hillman Superminx Convertible 1964

Really lovely condition Hillman Superminx convertible. 3 owners before us. On getting this last year we found that it required quite a lot of work under floor. So we bit the bullet and gave to a specialist to carry out the work . including inner and outer sills. All running gear was checked and bearings or seals replaced as required. This has been done to a high standard.

The engine pulls really well and is quite a surprise as to how well it keeps up with modern non motorway traffic. The engine was serviced and the head taken off and the valves re-seated.

The car comes with a folder of receipts from over the years and some pictures of it at various ralleys and events. It also comes with lots of spares which previous owners have collected as they came available.

Condition wise. it is non concourse. or anorak proof. in that the body has some marks and will require care to keep it looking as good without the full expense of a bare metal restoration.
