A Classic This is a running clean example of a Classic Daimler Coupe with only around 60 left on the road. It has a number of custom fabricated parts, S Steel exhaust, header tank to name 2 and TRIPPLE Weber DCOE 45's. This is a working, running example of the Daimler alternative to the Jaguar XJC. Purchased vehicle which had been dry stored for 5 years this beautiful car has undergone a detailed examination and where needed parts has been rebuilt and replaced. Replace items include, refurbished 3 speed automatic gearbox, 2 fuel pumps and fuel lines, fuel tank senders. Wiper motor referb. Front cross member cleaned welded and is now rust free. Carburetor rebuild and balance.

Daimler Sovereign Restoration.

Body,
New inner outer sills, end sills, arch repair both sides cut back to clean metal then welded in, fuel tanks cleaned new inner arches and boot both sides, radius arm mounts both sides, all welded and seam sealed etc.

Back axel,
Recon 2.88 power lock diff, use hypoid 90 oil
I rebuilt callipers. New discs, green stuff pads.
New hardy spacers
New wheel bearings
Gaz adjustable coil overs
Polly bush radius Arms,
Firro built prop shaft,

New fuel pumps and seals and fuel lines.

Engine,
Series 3, cylinder head (bigger valves)
Full stainless-steel exhaust system and exhaust manifold heat wrapped.

Electronic ignition.
SCS Aluminium inlet manifold
Triple Weber 45 DCOE side draught Carbs
Tuned by Mike Sweeny Engineering, 175 bhp at the wheels at 4000 ish rpm.
New water pump
Rebuilt and upgraded radiator more cores etc
Removed the old viscous coupling fan and replaced with 2 electric ones push and pull.
Handmade header tank that made a huge difference with cooling no overheating at all no air pockets, hot spots etc.

Steering rack rebuilt fitted with Polly bushes they might be black not blue like the rest but still a Polly bush upgraded. All front-end Polly bushed, replacing the front springs wishbones etc,
Drop links Upgraded anti roll bar.

Recon starter motor, replaced the engine core plugs


Interior
All trimmed by Pete Fenten of Stockport, 6yrs ago.
New headlining Everything covered. New door seal kit.

Rebuild the back-window mechanisms serviced the motors etc.
