This beautiful rust free Packard was purchased from a museum in Missouri about 5 years ago for $64. 00 and I put over $25. 00 into everything you don't see at a museum. New radiator. heater coil. thermostat. weatherstrip. front bushings and rear shocks. rebuilt transmission twice. rebuilt generator. new tire. engine overhaul. all fluids. etc. Investment quality car. The motor runs smooth and strong. The overdrive 3 speed on the column transmission works perfectly. the overdrive feature is awesome and keeps up with high speed traffic with ease.
This car has radial tires which makes a smooth comfortable ride. This car gets more looks and thumbs up than the Ferrari I had. not that I want that kind of attention. but it stands out and is absolutely beautiful on the road and close up. Lots of chrome. Power hydraulic windows. and roof. Cool feature. press the gas pedal to the floor and it starts the car. Has vacuum power antenna which I haven't had time to fix. Radio doesn't work. I have two other radios and extra parts. bulbs. trickle charger. cover. lots of papers and books. Mileage is not accurate. Very cheap collector car insurance from Grundy Worldwide . Parts are surprisingly easy to find. Easier than a 1991 Ferrari. ONLY selling because of pending divorce. No trades. As is. no warranty. Can help organize shipping anywhere or pick up.
