1951 MERC 4 DOOR SDN.
51 DA 39010 M
305 CU inch V 8 with C 4 Automatic Transmission (3 Speed).
The engine is sound.
Push-button Start.
Nice Quiet ride.
Additional electric fan installed to keep Radiator even cooler. though I've never had to use it.
The system has been converted to 12 volt w/ voltage reducer to cut 12 V to 6 V so clock and original gauges are operational.
Brake Lines. Shoes. and Master Cylinder replaced in 2001 from the original.
Transmission Lines and accelerator cable springs replaced in 2011.
Battery. Transmission fluid. fuel pump and lines replaced. and fuel tank cleaned out in Mar.
Front Seat and driver door panel reupholstered with the look of original last May.
Aside from listed and custom exterior everything else is original and in great condition.
The car has been Lowered. Nosed. Decked. Shaved. and
Headlights Frenched .
Rear Doors are Suicide.
New Old Stock Jack set w/ full spare.
Original Radio w/ hardware included.
Dummy Spot Lights for show.
Red Running Lights Underneath (not the neon kind).
Old School Flame Throwers… separate switch under dash w sparkplugs in tailpipes.
Solenoids in Front doors and in trunk for remote entry.
Hidden kill switch with key on exterior.
6 disc Alpine Changer in glove box. w/ Alpine removable faceplate head unit (cassette).
Telescoping frenched antenna.
Bluedots on tail lights.
Unknown actual miles on present engine.
Great car to bring to shows. and only need a few items to complete:
Front Grill on Driver's side has a small crack.
Driver ‘vent' window is cracked.
