1953 Studebaker for sale
Current customer rating:
Selling my running project 1953 Studebaker 2 r 11 truck.
Push button start cranks up easy even when cold. All new windows and rubber throughout. Drivers side window is off the inner rail so it goes up and down but needs help. Passenger side lock only and the lock wasn't there when I bought it. Summit racing gas tank in rear due to rust in original tank (still in place). Front and rear hubs from a mid 80's chevy. Not sure what model they were on there when I bought it. Front disk conversion also prior to me owning.
New electronic ignition and wiring. Installed a brake switch and two led brake lights. New wiper motor with drivers side wiper (missing passenger) gauges don't work. Everything is running on 12 v
Hand brake needs to be done and the second gear kicks out when driving. Three on the tree original motor 6-cyl. 245. 6 cid/102 hp 1 bbl and transmission. The wheels were purchased on Craigslist and I had to buy lug adapters to make them work. This truck hasn't been restored just brought to life and driven locally. I did drive it on the interstate a few times but I wouldn't recommend it until its been given a good going over.
This is the long bed version of the 2 r 5 and there isn't many of them around.
There's rust in the usual places but it's a solid running truck.
Message me thru the ad if you have any questions. I will try and answer them to the best of my ability. Bill of sale only. Tagged and Registered in Georgia.
