1972 Detomaso Pantera

Dallas Motorsports presents this 1972

Detomaso Pantera!

This Pantera has been restored with one goal in mind. to build the ultimate driver.

Mechanically this car has been completely overhauled.

The 351 engine has been rebuilt by Richard Painter. a local Dallas Pantera guru.

The transaxle has also been recently rebuilt. including being safety wired to make it bulletproof.

The common Pantera cooling issue has also been address on this car. a high output Flow Kooler water pump was added along with a s tainless coolant recovery tank.

The only thing not working on the car is the radio. but who needs that when you have the sound of a Ford V 8! The car still features the original interior and only has a few blemishes that can be found on the seats. they still look and feel great.

All the gauges work along with the headlights. turn signals. hazards. horn. etc. This Texas car is very solid. it does not have any of the traditional rusted out areas found on early Pantera's.

Paint is older and has a few blemishes. but still bright and gets plenty of attention.

If you are that person looking for a near original. but drive-able Pantera. this car will not disappoint.

I can remember. as a kid. riding around the Dallas area with my Dad in one of his many Porsches naming off the year. make. and model of “any” cool car we saw.

That fueled my obsession with cars very early in life.
