1974 Ministry of Defense Land Rover 109 Series III Soft Top for sale in Albuquerque. NM 87114

This 1974 is a one-of-a-kind. right hand drive. totally restored. five-door. ex Ministry of Defense Land Rover. It is 109 inches in length.

The engine was recently converted to a Defender 200 turbo diesel fuel injected which includes an extra inter-cooler for the turbo that is visible through the front grill.

The engine is paired with a 4-speed transmission with overdrive.

It has under 51. 00 original miles on it.

This Land Rover a soft-top. with a new mohair cover in Navy blue to match the Navy Blue paint job. There are seat belts for five positions. two in front three behind. There's an additional two bench seats in the far back.

The restoration was done by PA Blanchard in England in 2003 and it was shipped to the US in 2004.

The rear axle is a one ton Salisbury with 24 spline teeth. It has locking front axle.

New rebuilt injectors were used and a custom exhaust added.

It also has new rear parabolic springs.

The dash is fully functional.

The 4 WD works great.
