This is a NO RESERVE auction!  Here is a real steel American automobile.   These Hudsons were built like tanks. they are excellent driving cars and handle better than any other make due to their Stepdown chassis and low center of gravity.   This is the desirable Club Coupe body style.

This car was originally sold by Hodgdon Motors of International Falls. MN.   A packet of original paperwork
goes with the car. it might help to trace the chain of ownership if you're interested.   Owner's manual included also.

My Hudson runs well. doesn't smoke. doesn't overheat and the steering is straight and true.   It steers easier than other old cars I've driven. much easier than my Studebaker.   The brakes are fine. having been recently rebuilt including new steel brake lines.   It rides smooth and the seats are really cushy. like a big sofa.    The floor pans are solid (see photos).

All lights work including the really cool illuminated hood emblem.   The original pushbutton radio works fine. pulls in a lot of AM stations and the sound quality is impressive.   You have to remember that this a tube-type radio so it has to "warm up" before operating.   The clock was working until recently.   The horns work.   Wipers don't.   It has an electric fuel pump.   Mileage reading as of this date is 58360.   Actual mileage is unknown.   For some reason the dash emblem says Commodore and there is an "8" logo above the radio but according to the data plate this is a Super Six. not a Commodore and it has obviously a six cylinder engine.

I have just added four Coker radial wide whitewall tires of the correct size and the wheels were powder coated.

One problem is the clutch which will have to be diagnosed and repaired before driving very far. although the car can be driven onto a trailer or moved short distances.

This Hudson will make a nice vintage driver for someone.   It is being offered at NO RESERVE. high bidder gets the car.   E-mail me with any questions.   It has a clear Oregon title.   License plates are not included with the car unless buyer is an Oregon resident.

Please do your homework and determine the shipping cost before bidding!  If you are the successful bidder you will be obligated and expected to follow through on your purchase.

I have tried to represent this Hudson honestly. pointing out the boo-boos as well as the good stuff.   This vehicle is 68 years old so it is being sold "as is" with no guarantees or warranties expressed or implied.   E-mail me with any questions.

Successful bidder to pay $500 non-refundable deposit through Paypal within 48 hours of purchase.   Balance is to be paid by cash. bank cashiers check or bank-to-bank money transfer (preferred) within seven days of purchase.   If paying by bank cashiers check I will retain title and vehicle until the check clears both buyer's bank and my bank.   This could take two weeks or more.   I am adding these conditions due to previous experience.   Buyer must pick up vehicle within 30 days after sale.

No bids accepted  from persons with less than three feedbacks unless they contact me with their address and phone number before bidding.   I reserve the right to cancel any bid from someone who has an unfavorable feedback rating.

Thanks for looking at my Hudson!

As I stated in my description. I have added wide whitewall tires since taking the photos of the car.   Looks like eBay won't allow me to delete any existing photos and I'm maxed out on my 24-photo limit.   If you'd like to see a pic of the car with its new tires. send me an e-mail and I'll reply.   Thanks!

I'm getting questioned about the cost of shipping and what is my best price. will you end the auction and sell the car for a certain price. etc.   I have responded to a couple of these folks but eBay has a way of intercepting this type of correspondence so please don't try to circumvent the sales process. the auction must run its course.   Best offer from a valid bidder gets the car!
I'm not a dealer and I don't have a shipping company. so - like I said in my description - please do your homework and get shipping quotes before bidding.

Thanks
Denny
