1965 Chevrolet Corvette L 76 Convertible.
Vehicle equipped with original engine 327 cubic inch 365 horsepower V-8 engine with mechanical valve lifter camshaft. This is the last of the RACING small block Corvette solid lifter engines. with the exception of the 1970-1972 LT-1 engines. which are a very different Corvette.
You do not need a Big Block to experience the thrill of Chevrolet power.
This Corvette has all the thrills you need-and then some.
This engine has been verified at a Chapter judging school by many NCRS judges. including myself. and one National NCRS Team Leader.
I have been an NCRS Member since 1975. and am a Master Judge Level 250. See photos of engine pad. The second H of the HH suffix has the funky H.
This car has had much work recently. Rebuilt headlight motors. new disc brakes. new trailing arms. rebuilt suspension. new convertible top. 1967 wheels and new radial tires. This car is very fast. and you need open road to really experience its driving experience. A new heavy duty clutch makes this Corvette one for the more advanced hobbyist.
A perfect mid year to use for Vintage Auto Racing-just change seat belts and add a roll bar. This Corvette may have some prior race History so research is something to do.
There are very few of these L 76 1965 Corvettes left. of the 5. 00 sold new. with original engines and real trim and VIN tags. Good colors. too. Real 6500 rpm tachometer and 80 pound oil pressure gauge. Engine has chrome accents and air cleaner for hi performance engine.
