1983 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon westfalia full camper

1983 Westfalia. 118k original documented miles. I believe this is a one owner van with  original condition say for a couple dings and scratches. Always garaged. Original paint color . Interior still looks new. gas burner never been fired . All electrical component are working including the original radio but will need speakers . This is a excellent low mile survivor.

Motor and Transmission- The van has only 118k original miles. The air-cooled 2. 0 liter runs perfectly. The van has been meticulously maintained since new. Motor runs great. manual transmission shift crisp and precise. clutch is smooth   Steering is tight. brakes are good. New battery. new fuel lines  and fuel filter . vacuum lines r . tank drained and cleaned an coated  . The car start right up every time takes off with no hesitation  .

Interior- The interior sleeps 4  is in great condition. The seats are comfortable and have no rips. stains or damage. . No cracks in the dash. Carpet still looks new.  The almost NEW fridge runs off propane and 12 volt aux battery. and 120 (shore power). All curtains (have extra curtains as pictured ) are in excellent condition and have no sun fading or damage. The interior cabinets are in like new condition. The carpet is original and was covered with plastic until  now The front seats both swivel. . .  

Paint and Body- The paint and body are in good  condition minus couple of spots of surface rust (pictured. The paint is good with what appears a respray a couple dings and scratches. Bumpers are in OK  condition. All door and body seals are in good condition. no leaks. Very very  dry van with no leaks whatsoever windows go up and down manually.    camping door slides easy. windshield has a crack     . Always garaged. Please assume nothing i described the camper to the best i can I RECOMMEND AND STRONGLY ENCOURAGE A THIRD PARTY INSPECTION OR IN PERSON PRIOR TO AUCTION CLOSE. the furnishing and products on the interior is a special touch from "mama" to show the van how homey and cozy could be .  they will be included except for perishable items  . original tools and jacks never put on the ground. owners manual with original key. clear GA title .

Pop Top- The pop top canvas  is new with 2 side zippered windows and one in front . There is none of the typical mildew stains on the pop top felt headliner. upper bunk sleeps 2 and the pad is in never slept on  excellent condition. The fiber glass top is in excellent original condition as it is free of any trace of leaks .  

The previous owner took excellent care of this van and always garaged it. One of the nicest Vanagons on the market. This is a no story original low mile survivor that has been well maintained and cared for its entire life.  in my opinion  is ready for a camping adventures.
