Up for sale we have a 1973 Plymouth Cuda. The ‘Cuda was an offspring of the Barracuda that were built from 1970-74. They were initially built to compete with Camaros and Mustangs of the day. The one we have for sale is a solid car that has the matching #s V8. It sports a ton of eye appeal with the Vitamin C Orange Paint scheme that is accented by the Black Stripes and Black top. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and driveline of the Plymouth. but first I would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Cuda. The body is solid with good straight panels with nice fit and finish. It’s covered in the Vitamin C Orange Paint that is accented by the Black Stripes and Black Vinyl top that appears to be in very good condition. This Cuda has the dual sport mirrors and the rear spoiler. The bumpers appear to be new as well as the weather stripping around the doors and trunk. The stainless looks good and may be factory. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” American Racing Wheels and Tires.

Next. we will move on to the interior of the ’73. It’s all done in the classic black that provides for the perfect transition from the exterior scheme and really flows the two together nicely. The bucket seats and console are correct for the car. They look very good along with the carpet and door panels. When you look at the dash it all looks correct with factory in dash gauges. The only thing that’s been upgraded is the radio to an AM/FM 8 Track.

Finally. we will take a look at the driveline of the Plymouth. Under the hood it has the matching #s 318 that is mated to the 904 Trans and 8 ¾ Rear End. It has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. The engine is dressed with a 4 Barrel Intake. Edelbrock Carb with factory manifolds and stock valve covers. The breather has also been changed to chrome and a new radiator was installed. It’s all painted correct with the inner fenders and fire wall matching the exterior paint. The trunk of this Cuda is also correct with it being orange as well. When you look under the ’73 it has dual exhaust with stock style mufflers and the tips ran through the rear valance. The floors look good with only a rear pan on the righ side being replaced. All the frame rails look good.
