This motor & trans are out of a 1971 Oldsmobile Delta 88 that was going to be used as a derby car
It was a two barrel single exhaust car that couldn't have had a hard mile on it.
Took the motor apart and found that it has a Nodular crank. score!!
Lots of research done for this build to ensure it is done right. (bearing clearances. pushrod lifter height etc. )Bored . 03 over 10/10 crank & bearings.
Took . 047 off deck and . 006 off heads to increase compression to 10. 0 to 1

I'm sure I have forgotten some things. I have well over 20. 00 in this car.
I have built a 1969 Camaro & 1955 Chevrolet two door.
Decided to do something different
Still need to:
hook up the horn. finish weld exhaust about 18 inches from collector
