1988 GMC Sierra 1500 for sale
Current customer rating:
I inherited this beast from my dad in 2007.
I had a new 350 small block engine professionally installed and the transmission rebuilt in November of 2008 with new torque converter. radiator and rebuilt carb(over $4200).
Since the rebuild the engine and transmission has less than 10 k miles on.
I mostly used this as my fishing kayak transportation to local fishing holes and for picking up lumber.
After taking it home from storage this winter the brake lines gave out.
This will need all new brake lines.
Brakes do not work.
The fuel gauge also seemed to give out during the winter but I will give it a fill and see if that fixes it.
I have no more time for this and my wife does not want it in the driveway any more.
Starts and runs. Nice and loud 4 x 4 works and this thing is a force in 4 wheel drive
2 almost new tires and these wheels are as awesome looking as I have seen on a suburban. The front 2 tires are dry rotted. would recommend replacing
Body and paint is rough. Typical for an almost 30 year old suv.
Rusty on the lower stuff as can be seen in the pictures.
Especially by the super cool diamond plate running boards/mud flapps.
Barn doors open but are not original. They are off a lighter color chevy suburban.
Nice dark tinted windows on all but front 2 doors
Interior is not great.
Front seats have tears second row is ok and no third row.
Headliner is hanging low.
Windshield is cracked and an amateur CD player install.
Driver power window does not work and some others are
K&N air filter as well
