1969 Dodge Coronet for sale
Up for NO RESERVE auction is a nice example of a classic Mopar. This is a 1969 Dodge Coronet Super Bee with a 383 High performance 4 barrel V-8. This is a No A/C. power steering. Non-Power Brakes car. This vehicle has been part of the family for a few years now. We simply do not have the time or convenience of being able to restore this car to its former glory. It is an all number matching WM23 Car. As the pictures provide the Engine. Front radiator support. and rear quarter panel all match the vin from the dash. This would make it a great candidate for a complete restoration.
The engine and drivetrain is a 383 4 barrel with 727 Torqflite automatic. The engine was professionally rebuilt about 3 years ago. It has stock internals that have been freshened up. It has the factory four-barrel intake with a Demon 750 CFM vacuum secondary electric choke carburetor. The engine sat for a few years and just recently I got it moving again. I replaced the plug wires and changed the oil. I rebuilt the carburetor. It runs good but will need some more things to make it just right. The transmission shifts well and the engine does not knock or anything. It drives around the yard and is mobile. The engine does have the Vin number stamped on the Right Side down near the pan and a picture is provided on hear to confirm it.
The brakes and other parts of the driveline are ok. It stops and doesn't leak fluid. The front brakes appear to be large single piston disc brakes and I am not sure if they were converted or not at some time. The rear drums are still complete and operational. The wheels are aftermarket and are in ok shape. The tires are decent and hold air well on this car.
The body is in ok shape. It does have some rust areas and will probably require a full blast and inspection for repair. It is pretty solid throughout but has obviously been repaired in many places. It has the typical rust near the rear window and rear wheels. The rear glass is missing and the front glass is in good shape with just a couple small rock chips.
The interior is in ok shape. The dash is all there and the rally cluster in complete and in good shape. The floor pans have had some patch jobs and will need to be replaced. The trunk has a large patch that was welded in and will need to be redone with the proper pans. The doors operate and work well and the windows go up and down. The front seats are not the original and it has the holes for the factory bench seat that should be in there.
The Frame and underneath are in good shape. Most of the cancer seems to be inside or on some of the panels. The front subframe and underneath are in good shape. The suspension seems to be in good shape.
The car has had a new exhaust. new fuel tank. new fuel lines. new rear springs with hangers. rebuilt wiring harness. rebuilt engine. new radiator. and more. We also have a new headliner. carpet. sail panel boards. fender stripe kit. Original Die cast emblem. and vinyl top that go with it. It was going to be a decent driver vehicle for one of the members of the family. He has since moved on and is not really interested in the car anymore.
This car is in a good position to have a complete restoration done to it. It does have some bad areas but really it is all numbers matching and an actual Super Bee. There are many parts that come with the car and many things completed that could be reused in a restoration. The only downside to the project is that the original fender tag was lost before our time. Someone installed an MSD unit on the car and removed the tag. I am sure with some homework something could be found. Most items that make the car complete are there and the few things that are needed to complete it are easy to find.
I have a clean and clear title in hand.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I will try and answer or provide anything I can to assist.
There is a Deposit of 500$ due 48 hours after auction ends. 250$ is refundable if everything is not finalized. The other 250$ is NON-refundable. The car will be sold to the highest bidder. Final payment will be cash or wire transfer only.
