Current customer rating: (273 votes ) based onHave owned this Scout for years and is my daily driver.
It does need some work. but is a running driving Scout. Looking to pass it on to a good home. I honestly don't have time to work on it anymore. and when I do have free time I don't want to do anything.
Does have rust and needs a right quarter and floor pans. Frame and all cab mounts are solid. just need some panel replacement.
Lifters clatter and need to be replaced. they don't tap as much when the engine is warmed up. and the Scout runs and drives strong. Have gasket set for the lifter job. haven't purchased the lifters yet. Power steering box is leaking. have replaced the input shaft seal. needs end cap o-ring. Has the Flaming River steering shaft and u-joint kit installed.
upper ball joints are getting a little sloppy. I have been rounding up parts to go thru the front end. have new Moog drag link. Moog steering damper. wheel bearings. seals.
