I hand picked this rust-free 914 out of Oregon a couple years back.
The only rust was a little surface rust on the bottom of the rocker panels. which have been replaced with new rockers. Even the "hell hole" is rust free I bought the car with the drive-line out and dis-assembled. From what I can tell. the car is complete with all components present.
Since I owned the car. I had the motor completely rebuilt from the crank up and the car has been painted. The motor work was done at a by a local Porsche/VW mechanic. The paint was just finished 3-2017 and is a Pearl White with red trim.
The paint job is not "perfect show quality" but it is definitely very high quality.
The Pearl White has a beautiful sparkle to it.
The interior is bad and will need to be replaced or reupholstered. Tires are dry rotted.
All other parts are included as I got them. this car just needs to be put back together.
I've owned a couple 914's and the value of these cars has really gone up. here is your chance to own a beautiful 914! You will have a hard time finding a cleaner rust-free 914.
Starting bid of $5500 is WAY less then I have invested. my loss is your gain. I'm only selling because I have 2 other restoration projects in the works.
Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. Car must be paid in full by 6-1-17. although I can store the car inside for as long as you need to arrange pick-up.
