Current customer rating:
This 1928 Studebaker was saved from the southwest USA desert in 1999 and underwent a frame off restoration over the course of the next several years.
At that time the original engine was rebuilt and mated with a volvo transmission (to give it another gear). wiring updated to 12 v. electric fuel pump added. generator swapped out with an alternator. and interior redone with new gauges.
This vehicle was featured in the March/April 2007 Antique Studebaker Review due to it's uniqueness and wonderful restoration.
Since my ownership I have upgraded the Zenith carburetor with a Carter. added an airfilter. had the Starter rebuilt. had the Radiator pressure tested. replaced points. rotor. plugs. and distributer cap. placed an in-line fuel filter. repacked the water pump. added custom decal on both sides of the vehicle. and located an era correct radiator cap.
This vehicle has some minor paint blemishes/chips and the speedometer has never worked since I've owned it (guessing a ground issue but haven't looked into it yet).
As this vehicle is fairly rare. it never seems to turn heads at the car shows and is fun to take out around town.
This vehicle is being sold with no reserve. so may the highest bidder win!
