FOR SALE I HAVE MY 1980 MINI 1275GT IN YELLOW

REFURBISHED TO ITS ORIGINAL GLORY

THIS IS A VERY RARE CAR YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER EXAMPLE. IT HAS ONLY DONE APPROX 10 MILE SINCE THE ENGINE WAS REBUILT!!!!!!

I HAVE REFURBISHED IT MYSELF TO A VERY HIGH STANDARD WHICH I WILL LIST BELOW

BODY

The mini was striped almost back to the metal and I repaired any small marks or dints in the body work.

Both the front valance and bonnet were replaced with brand new panels and both sills have also been replaced again with brand new panels

Rear Valance brand new

Rear lights are original and the head lights are again brand new with xenon bulbs fitted

Front bumper brand new

The boot lid and doors of original

It has been fully re-sprayed in Original 1980 Mini Yellow inside and out and also underneath (see pics)

GLASS

All window and door seals are brand new

Front windscreen is brand new in Green

All other windows are also original with the green tint

ENGINE

The engine has been completely stripped and rebuilt I will list all parts replaced below. also it has only done approx 10 mile since it was rebuilt! (This was the drive to the MOT station last year)

Cylinder Head is brand new and has been set up to run on unleaded petrol

New engine mounts

Full head set

Bottom end set

Oil seals replaced

Piston rings replaced

Big ends replaced

Oil pump replaced

Timing chain replaced

Radiator refurbished

New water pump fitted

All of the followers have been replaced

Cam has been replaced

Clutch replaced

Plugs. Filters. Oil. Plug leads. Dizzy & Cap all been replaced with new parts

SUSPENSION

Front

Sub-frame has been completely refurbished and all bushed have been replaced

New shock absorbers have been fitted

Rear

Brand new sub-frame fitted and all fittings refurbished

Refurbished rear shocks fitted

 All wheel bearings have been replaced

BRAKES

All brake pipes have been replaced with new pipe

The front callipers have been refurbished and new seals fitted

Rear brake cylinders and shoes have been replaced

New disks and pads on the front

WHEELS

All Four Wheels and tyres are brand new

INTERIOR

All seats were removed and re-trimmed in black leather

Underlay and carpets replaced

New head lining fitted

Dash has been refurbished

Dials are original

Steering wheel replaced

Boot has been lined with carpet

OTHER

New Battery Fitted

Rear plastic arches replaced

Indicator stalk replaced

Wiper arms and Motor brand new (new blades fitted)

The exhaust is brand new

Sorry to be so repetitive I just want to show how much work and effort has gone into the mini.

The car almost flew through its mot but because im so clever I forgot to put the light fuses in it and it failed. I took it back a short while later a bit red faced and it passed.

I have been as honest as I can however like any car I recommend you view before you buy.

I am selling is as I have only done the work to keep my mind busy and now its finished. im going to start something new
