Just try to find one of these really early 2 cv's! Nigh on impossible. This is believed to be the earliest 2 cv in the UK. I bought this car a number of years ago after much searching and have had it restored to exact original specification. The really early cars like this one had a huge number of differences from the later 1950's cars doors. wheels and bonnet different to start with! The car has its original engine and gearbox. though both have been rebuilt. Early type seats to exact specification. as are door trims. This car cost in excess of £20. 00 to build - I don't expect to get that for it. but it isn't a cheap 2 cv - this is for serious collectors.
