The story of this cars' restoration begins when a father and son purchased this car in 1991 and decided to restore it as a “father and son project” that ended up taking over 15 years and the estimated cost is well over $150. 00.

This car is absolutly goergous and is probably the best driving condition 62 Series Convertible in existence.

Everything on this car is period correct (with the exception of the late model Escalade disc brake system up front) and has been repainted Seminole Red.

The odometer was reset after restoration was completed and currently shows 1250 very pampered miles since 2006.

The body-off restoration is extremely well documented with photos. diagrams. hand written notes and of course. a binder full of receipts.

Everything on this car was rebuilt. restored or replaced.

All of the equipment is in working order and the engine and transmission are original to the car.

Currently this is the crown Jewell of Mr. Sam Swope's Cadillac collection and can be found in the showroom at Sam Swope Cadillac.
