Jaguar MK II Badged 3. 8 but with totally rebuilt 4. 2 engine !This car has had thousands spent on it over the last couple of years. comprising of a totally re built 4. 2 engine. rom a 420 G. Also a totally Rebuilt Gearbox from a (1967) 420 G with 4 speed overdrive & full synchromesh gears. lso it's benefiting from a completely overhauled (1965) MK II 3. 8 Back Axle serial number 2667 incorporating a 3. 54 ratio ' Powerlok' Diff . Rebuilt in May 2012. This car has also been fitted with up rated disc brakes which have recently been balanced on a rolling road. ompetition wire wheels. Jaguar Power steering . which makes the car much nicer to drive . The wood work is all in very good condition. and as you can see from the photos it's got the seating from a later XJ series. aguar in tan leather & a fully electrically adjustable drivers seat which allows modern comfort !But the original seating is all available & in very good condition. to return the car to its original state !New complete carpeting through out has just been fitted. the roof lining is all in excellent condition. The performance of this car is fabulous & the sound from the recently fitted stainless steel exhaust system is Just Magical !! Better than any CD !!The Pod of this car has excellent solidity due to lack of corrosion & and lack in turn of welding. all the body panels Are straight and line up as they should. he car would benefit from a re paint to make perfect. but very useable as she is. Great fun to drive & would make a fabulous club race car for events like Goodwood Revival etc. We use the car regularly and is a wonderful attraction where ever we go. there are a few minor improvements and adjustments which Could be done to improve bits & bobs (she is 51 years old) but she is great fun as she is. we're only selling due to an opportunity to buy an E Type which we've been after for a while !!Any questions. or viewing request. please call Adam on 01626 204368.
