Very original 1936 AUSTIN YORK Limousine for sale

This 6 cylinder 2366 cc AUSTIN York 7 seat limousine has been off the road for 30 odd years . The last owner had the car for 43 years. Only 2 previous owners.   The previous owner had started to restore it. The engine was in pieces. Now completely rebuilt with New pistons and rings ( bores lightly honed as there was actually nothing wrong with them ). New white metal bearings. New radiator core. Overhauled brakes . The car now drives very well. Good original grey leather seats. Original headlining . Good door cards.   Original paintwork a bit scruffy . Needs carpets and interior tidying. History with old photos MOTs etc. This car should be left unrestored as it oozes patina . There are plenty of shiny restored cars out there . but few showing the history of there years. As  has been proven in recent auctions . this is what people are now appreciating. original registration number with V5 .   tel 01622 884287
