We are pleased to offer this delightful 1938 Austin 7 Opal Open Road Tourer.

It is in lovely condition and ready to enjoy this summer.

The Austin starts very readily with good oil pressure showing while the ammeter indicates the dynamo is charging properly.

Full weather equipment is present including a set of sidescreens.

Showing only 2 owners, the car has had some £6000 spent on her since the last owner thought they purchased a decent car back in 2014. All the mechanical parts have been thoroughly gone through, and the engine fully rebuilt.

The older maroon paintwork and black wings polish to a deep shine and show the car off nicely.

This later year Austin 7 benefits from the introduction of the three main bearing engine, four speed synchromesh gearbox, Borg & Beck clutch and a semi-Girling system braking system. These modifications helped make the 7 easier to drive and extend its life in the marketplace.

Now quite rare, the Opal Tourer is an ideal introduction to Austin 7 ownership which is so well supported by numerous specialists and owner's clubs.
