1964 Plymouth Savoy Hemi for sale

In 1964 Plymouth released the Race Hemi. With so few made. owning one is almost impossible. This '64 Savoy is a clone but it is a rotisserie restored stunning beauty. Bob Mosher. nationally known restorer and master of 62-65 Mopars did some of the work on this incredible replica of the A-990 Super Stock. Minor deviations from this package include dual master cylinder with front disc brakes for better stopping power. carpet versus rubber mat. etc.
The car has heater delete. mirror delete. visor delete. interior light delete. rear seat dete.
The engine built by Dick Landy Industries is a 426 ci Hemi. It is a Mopar block part number P 4529852. with a Mopar 4. 150 crankshaft. 10 1/4 : 1 compression pistons. Manley Forged Rods #14280 and Mopar Stage V aluminum heads. It has a correct cross ram intake with the correct style carter AFB carburetors and headers. It has a Mopar distributor converted to electronic ignition with a hidden MSD box. It also has a Griffin 3 core aluminum radiator with electric fan.
This engine dyned at 570 HP with 606 Ft. Lbs. of torque.
It sports the Torqueflite heavy duty transmission with a heavy duty torque converter.
The third member is a correct 8 3/4 sure grip rear end with 4:10 gears with 30 spline Mosher axles The rear springs are Launcher Super Stocks.
This car has never been raced. It only cruises to car shows where it draws huge crowds every time.
