1940 Mercury convertible stock or street rod project for sale

1940 Mercury convertible to restore or build into a street rod.
This is a complete disassembled car less engine.
The body is in primer ready to sand and paint.
The frame is sand blasted. primered and ready to paint and detail.
Any rusted areas were professionally repaired.
All of the interior including seats. door. panels. trim panels. dash. mouldings. radio and gauges are there (the stock plastic trim on dash has been replaced with flat plastic).
The convertible top with all lines and cylinders are there.
The grill. all chrome and stainless trim including bumpers are in good to very good condition.
The only modification to the chassis is the addition of a front disc brake conversion.
This was an older restoration that needed up dating and with too many projects. there has been no time to work on it.
While this is a rare car. (only 9. 42 were produced) many parts are interchangeable with 1940 Fords.
