For sale is my 1970 Buick Gran Sport (GS) 455.   I have owned this low mile survivor for almost 10 years and it is truly a step back in time.   This car is nearly a 100% matching number car including engine. alternator. distributor. carburetor. transmission. rear-end and supported by its Sloan museum documentation.   This car was built at the Kansas plant and resided most of its life in the dry mid west.   As a result. this car is virtually rust free.   All the panels appear to be original including the trunk floor. This is not some cut up and pieced together ride. The factory color of silver mist shines well and is enhanced with a black top and interior.   The car is loaded with options such as:

·        power disc brakes
·        power steering
·        power trunk release
·        tilt wheel
·        air conditioning
·        remote control outside mirror
·        passenger side mirror
·        rally ride
·        posi-traction and the list goes on
·        tach and gauge package
·        lighted rear view mirror
·        AM/FM- 8 -Track

The exterior of the car boasts a very attractive silver mist paint and black vinyl top.   All the trim and chrome is nearly show quality.   All the seals and rubber moldings are also in excellent condition. All the glass is in good condition as well.

The interior is also in excellent condition with a newly re-chromed dash and arm rests with backing plates.   The factory radio has been updated to todays standards and powers modern speakers providing much better quality sound.

The original trunk area has been detailed and sports a factory type spare and jack assembly.

The underside of the car depicts a rust free car with all of its factory sheet metal including floors and trunk.   All the suspension has been replaced as well as new brake and fuel lines have been installed.   The factory power drum braking system has been upgraded to a factory power Disc brake system complete with a newly plated booster. new master cylinder. new backing plates. calipers. rotors. brake lines and pedal pad.

The well detailed and matching number drive train boasts the original 455 with its matching number carburetor. alternator and distributor.   The original turbo 400 transmission has been rebuilt and a slight shift kit was added just to keep things interesting under acceleration.   The original 2:93 rear end was replaced with a 1970 “00” 3:42 posi-traction rear end. The original rear end will sold with the car.   The car rides on Buick 15” rally wheels and nearly new BF Goodrich tires.

This very original and highly detailed 1970 Buick GS 455 is in outstanding condition and would do well in almost any show.   It truly must be seen to be appreciated.   I welcome any inspections from serious buyers.

The car is for sale locally and in other advertising mediums so I reserve the right to sell the car to the first reasonable offer.   Feel free to call me at 786-269-5474 if you have any questions.
